This car has been the product of several Montana State University capstone projects: the chassis was built in 2021–22, the body in 2023–24, and the electrical systems in 2022–23 and 2024–25. This collaborative effort has already seen success on the track—our car competed at the Formula Sun Grand Prix in 2024, finishing 18th of 24 teams, and returned in 2025 to place 11th of 26

This chassis was originally built by the 2018–19 capstone team and, in its early days, carried a simple cardstock body with solar panels.
